Flowcoat (White, Cosmetic Repair)

This white wax-containing flowcoat is formulated for cosmetic surface repair and back-face finishing of FRP laminates. Pre-pigmented white with titanium dioxide and containing paraffin wax for air-curing tack-free capability, it provides a hard opaque white finish on non-mold surfaces, repair patches, and secondary gel coated areas. Used extensively in boat repair yards, bathroom fixture refurbishment, and FRP panel rework. Catalyze with MEKP at 1.5–2%, apply by brush or roller at 0.3–0.5 mm. Gel time 20–35 min at 20°C. Post-cure Barcol hardness 30–40. The wax blooms to the surface during cure, eliminating tack and allowing sanding and polishing after 2–4 hours. For color-matched repairs, mix with compatible color pastes. Can also serve as an internal tank lining coat applied on air-exposed surfaces.
