This white pigment paste is a high-concentration titanium dioxide dispersion in a styrene-compatible polyester carrier for on-site pigmentation of clear gelcoats, laminating resins, and flowcoats to produce custom white or lighter color shades. The TiO₂ pigment is milled to sub-5 µm particle size for maximum opacity, color strength, and smooth dispersion with no graininess or overtone. The polyester carrier is compatible with all standard orthophthalic and isophthalic UPR gelcoat bases as well as vinyl ester gelcoats. TiO₂ concentration is 60–70% by weight. Addition rate: 5–15% of gelcoat weight for full white opacity; lower additions lighten existing colors. The paste does not contain cobalt, promoters, or inhibitors and will not affect gel time when added within recommended limits. Stir thoroughly before use. Shelf stable for 12 months when sealed. Use as a base for color mixing with other primary pastes (black, yellow, red, blue) to achieve custom shades.

Applications
FAQ
Typically 8–12% by weight of clear gelcoat gives full opacity at 0.4–0.5 mm film thickness. Adding less gives a translucent off-white. For repair matching of existing white gelcoat, start at 10% and adjust until the cured test patch matches the original. Remember that wet paste color will look lighter than the cured result — always cure a test patch before adjusting.
